Archive Drawings from 1948 to 1955
The Vaughan Crane Co was first established in 1877 trading under Vaughan and Stubbs. In 1885 they started to manufacture overhead crane systems and subsequently became specialists in lifting and handling equipment. Up until the 1970s they were producing overhead gantry cranes, hoists, and jib cranes.

W.H. Tildesley Ltd produced forged components for the Vaughan Crane Company between 1948 and 1955. This included various lifting shank hooks (2 to 5 tonne) and sprockets.
