New Forged Components For LSWR T3 Class Locomotive No.563
W.H.Tildesley continues to support the heritage locomotive sector with the production of newly forged components.
Our latest project involved the production of forged stay bars for use within the firebox of steam-powered locomotives, in this case, the sole surviving Adams’ designed (LSWR) T3 class No.563.

The experienced restoration team at The Flour Mill workshop was entrusted with restoring the locomotive to steam and returning it to working life on the Swanage Railway.
This goal was achieved in 2023 when No.563 was returned to steam after lying dormant for over 75 years, following the extensive £650,000+ restoration.
If you require the new production of forged components for your locomotive restoration project don't hesitate to get in touch with our team who will gladly assist you.
