Surface Finishing

We can offer several surface finish options for the heritage components we produce.

All of the drop-forged components produced at W.H.Tildesley, whether modern or heritage, go through additional surface finishing. For example, as standard, our forgings are always supplied in the shot blast condition as it removes unwanted scale that is formed from the forging process.

Customer requirements for surface finishing, including zinc plating, galvanizing, and passivation, are carried out by our approved specialist sub-contractors most of whom are located close by in the West Midlands.
