New Forged Outer Yokes For The Austin Healey 100 Transmission System
Austin-Healey was a British sports car brand, founded in 1952 as a joint venture between the Austin division of the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and the Donald Healey Motor Company (Healey).
The first model built by the firm was the Austin-Healey 100 and production ran from 1953 to 1955. The 100-6 model succeeded the first with production running from 1956 to 1959.
W.H.Tildesley specialises in the replication and production of forged components for the heritage restoration and preservation market and was approached by our client who specialises in the supply of new parts for the Austin Healey 100 models.

Forged Stub Axle Blanks For The Austin Healey 100 Models |
We were asked to forge new stub axles (spindles) and the outer yokes used within the transmission system on the Healey 100. All new old stock (NOS) held at suppliers was now depleted and finding good used items was only a temporary solution. The stub axles and yokes are produced in batches of 25 at a time and although this is considered low-volume and not viable by most WHT has the can-do attitude to accommodate these requirements.
