Heat Treatment
Heat treatment improves the hardness, temperature resistance, ductility, and strength of forged components.
Heat treatment is a process used to alter the microstructure of metals and alloys to achieve improved hardness, temperature resistance, ductility, and strength.
W.H.Tildesley works in partnership with leading heat treatment companies to meet international standards and customer material specifications for the finished condition of all grades of material. This is supported by the most stringent quality control requirements. Furnace calibration records, process record charts, and operating procedures can be provided when required.
