The Jaguar E-Type is an iconic British-made sports car produced by Jaguar Cars Ltd between 1961 and 1974.

At the time, its combination of beautiful and functional aesthetics, forward-thinking new technologies, and exceptionally high performance elevated it to global acclaim.

W.H.Tildesley specialises in the replication and production of forged components for the heritage restoration and preservation market and was approached by our client who exclusively specialises in the restoration of the legendary Jaguar E Type.

We identified 5 critical forged components required for the E-Type suspension system and worked closely with our client from the reverse engineering through to the final forging stage. The components are produced in batches of 50 at a time and although this is considered low-volume and not viable by most WHT has the can-do attitude to accommodate these requirements.
