Founded in 1907 and based out of New King Street, Dudley. Staffordshire Edge Tool was a hand tool manufacturer producing pliers, wrenches, hammers, braces & chisels under the brand name 'SETCO'. The original partnership was dissolved by mutual consent in 1933. The company would move part of its works to Cradley Heath in 1966 and occupy both New King Street, Dudley & Newlynn Road, Cradley Heath until the company was wound up in 1977.
