The Triumph TR2 is a British sports car produced by the Standard Motor Company between 1953 and 1955. It is said that a total of 8,636 TR2s were produced up until its successor the Triumph TR3 was launched in 1955 and that approximately 2,000 vehicles survive today.

We were approached by our client who specialises specifically in the Triumph TR2 models. to produce new drop-forged steering tie rod levers (arms). By applying more modern manufacturing processes, such as grain flow simulation, WHT was able to produce a far superior forged replacement.

Relatively small batches of 200 pieces were produced, and as low-volume runs are a speciality of W.H.Tildesley we were happy to accommodate.
