Forged Components For The Veloce Velocette KTT Motorcycles

W.H.Tildesley was involved in the forged component production for many models of motorcycles supplied by Veloce under the Velocette brand.

One model of notable interest was the Velocette KTT, a motorcycle designed and built for racing that is identified by the ‘TT’ designation linked to the famous Isle of Man TT road race, of which Veloce saw their first TT win in 1926 with rider Alec Bennett.

Bennett went on to win the TT again in 1928 and Freddie Hicks took the win in 1929.

WHT produced forged many components for the K and KTT models, including some that have factory part numbers linked to the elusive KTT MkVI model that is said to have been an ‘in-house’ developed machine that never made it to final production.

The KTT’s success is very well-documented online and Tildesley is proud to have been involved, producing forged components for the Veloce company throughout its lifetime.
