The Morgan Plus 4 (+4) is a British sports car produced by the Morgan Motor Company. Initially, production ran from 1950 to 1969 with an estimated 4,584 vehicles produced. The Plus 4 model was revived several times and a modern version is still in production today.

Our client, a Morgan parts specialist, approached us to produce new spindle / stub axle forgings for the Plus 4 model. Naturally, due to age and fatigue, the original stub axles were slowly failing due to harsher road conditions. The Plus 4 model is also still enjoyed in heritage motorsport, therefore the advantages of tougher forged replacements using modern materials and processing techniques were immediately clear.

Relatively small batches of 200 – 250 pieces were produced, a speciality of W.H. Tildesley.

Our client who has invested in 2 sets of forging dies for left and right-hand stub axle variants, has exclusive use.
