W.H.Tildesley was involved with many great and now iconic British car manufacturers, producing a diverse range of drop-forged components that saw in the birth of the motor vehicle.

The Alvis Car and Engineering Company was one of the pre-war heritage brands that WHT worked with, supplying components for the Alvis Firefly and many successor models that shared the same components such as the Alvis Speed 20 and Alvis Firebird.

Alvis has recently seen a relaunch of the brand and WHT was able to reach out to their internal heritage team who were able to link original part numbers from our production records and forging drawings to the Alvis Firefly.
