WHT Support Launch of Ford Dagenham Plant with components for the Model AA

W.H.Tildesley was involved with many automotive brands, including the world-famous Ford Motor Company.  Many early Ford models, some now considered the holy grail in the heritage automotive scene, all used drop-forged components manufactured by WHT.

When analysing our drawing archive we discovered original forging drawings with Ford part numbers linked to the Ford Model AA, a truck designed by Henry Ford around 1926.

Forged Components Produced For The Ford Model AA

  • Rear Brake Rocker Arm – AA-2521-B
  • Body & Frame Bracket – AA-5077-A1
  • Brake Toggle Connecting Link – AA-2632

With the production of components starting in 1931, this ties in with the launch of the UK-based Dagenham Plant where the Model AA was the first vehicle to roll off the production line.
