Frazer Nash was one of many iconic British sports car manufacturers and brands, founded in the early 1920s by Archibald Frazer-Nash.

They produced a relatively small number of vehicles and focused on custom-made bespoke options for their customer base, many of which were looking to use them in competition.

Today, many Frazer-Nash models are still used in heritage-class motorsport and enjoyed by many enthusiasts all over the world. Given their racing pedigree and rarity, many pre-war models are valued between £100,000 and £300,000, and post-war models nearing the £1,000,000 mark.

We were approached by our client, a Frazer-Nash specialist, to produce new stub axle forgings, a particular component that is universal for all pre-war models. They exclusively specialise in restoring and maintaining models used in heritage motorsport. Original stub axles are prone to fracture and fatigue damage on the race track, hence the requirement for a reputable forging producer for reproduction.

The stub axles are produced in small batches of 10 to 20 at a time and although this is considered low-volume and not viable by most WHT has the can-do attitude to accommodate these requirements for production.

Our client has exclusive use of the forging dies, ensuring that Frazer Nash vehicles continue to be enjoyed by brand and motorsport enthusiasts all over the globe.
