New Forged Stub Axles For The Atalanta Motors 1936 Roadster Continuation

We were approached by our client, Atalanta Motors, to produce forged stub axles for their continuation project of the 1936 Atalanta sports car.

Atalanta Motors was originally founded in the 1930s and stopped production due to the war after a short production run of only 21 cars. The brand was relaunched in 2011 and after 7 years of development and prototyping the continuation ‘1936’ model was released in 2017.

W.H.Tildesley was involved in the early development stage, focusing on producing new stub axle forgings that are faithful to the original design. With advancements in raw materials and the overall forging simulation and manufacturing processes, WHT was able to supply a far superior forging for Atalanta to machine finish to desired specifications.
