New Forged Components For Vincent Motorcycle Models

Vincent Motorcycles is a brand synonymous with British motorcycles, founded in the late 1920s by Philip Vincent following the acquisition of Vincent HRD.

It is said that the most famous Vincent models were developed after the war, particularly towards the late 1940s when the Vincent Black Shadow was released and was the world’s fastest production motorcycle.

Given the popularity of the Vincent brand and the requirement for spares, W.H.Tildesley has worked closely with several companies to produce newly forged component blanks that are later machined to specification.

The steering head lugs and top link forgings are produced in relatively small batches of 10 to 20 at a time and the left-hand and right-hand fork ends in batches of 200. Although batches of 10-20 are typically considered low-volume and not viable by most manufacturers WHT has the can-do attitude to accommodate these requirements for production.

The forged components we produce for our clients are used on many Vincent motorcycle models that continue to be restored and enjoyed by enthusiasts all over the world. They are also far superior to inferior cast and machined variants found on the market.
